User Name & Password Guidelines

Homes.com user names and passwords can be comprised of most any combination of letters (a-z) and numerals (0-9).

Neither your user name nor password can begin or end with a period ( . ), an underscore ( _ ), or a hyphen ( - ). They also may not contain blank spaces (those created with your space bar) or UPPER CASE letters.

Examples of acceptable uses:

• joanofarc
• abc123
• steve_malkmus
• mr.t

Examples of unacceptable uses:

• -joanofarc
• abc123_
• Steve Malkmus
• MrT.

Suggestion

A GOOD password contains a mix of UPPER CASE AND LOWER CASE letters and numbers AND SYMBOLS and is at least 8 characters in length.
